Well being
At NCCT we see the health, wellbeing and happiness of our people as central to our success and apply equal focus on physical and mental wellbeing.
Our aim is to raise awareness, develop skills and inform our employees of themes of wellbeing, mental health and resilience
We aim to operate an effective health and safety management system to ensure we keep our employees and other parties safe from harm. We want to attract, develop and retain the bet people, to act fairly in their recruitment, promotion and development, and to be an equal opportunities employer, treating employees and potential employees fairly regardless of their race, colour, disability, marital status, age, gender, sexual orientation or religion .and importantly show consideration towards the people and communities in which we work.
In these pressing times NCCT understand Mental Health is a major concern amongst our workforce so also encourage any operative to talk in confidence to one of our trained Mental Health First Aiders, help and reassurance can be provided to those that need it. Our Mental Health First Aiders are trained to look out for any signs that may suggest any operative may be struggling with their own Mental Health and will speak on a confidential basis to the individual.
Environment
Our Environmental goal, is to provide a high quality installation for our clients by sustainable means. We take our environmental responsibility very seriously and are very proud that we have an environmental incident rate of zero on our projects .
Some of our objectives include:
- Commitment to significantly reducing our carbon footprint
- Clear environmental objectives designed to reduce waste in all areas
- Targeted to reduce noise, dust, etc.
- Develop and promote reduce - re-use and recycle culture
- Train and communicate to our people our commitment to efficiency in fuel, water and reducing waste
- Reduce our emissions through resource efficiency and utilising local supply chain
- All waste is segregated, to ensure best endeavours are in place to recycle 100% of waste
